About Al Fateh Grand Mosque

This Grand Mosque stands out in the desert country of Bahrain. The Domes of the mosque and beautifully crafted minarets are picture perfect standing tall off the Al Fatih highway. The Architectural beauty of the mosque is what keeps tourists pouring in, the entire structure is created out of fiberglass, constructed initially to honor the founder of Bahrain Ahmed-al-Fateh who was instrumental in freeing Bahrain from the Persians. The Library inside the Mosque holds over 7000 books. They include the teachings of the Muslim Prophet Mohammed and other religious books called Hadiths. The books in the library are over hundreds of years old and have been maintained by the mosque in mint condition. It is always open for prayers and many locals are seen flocking to the Mosque to perform them. Visit the Mosque for an insight into the spiritual/ religious side of Bahrain.
