About King Fahd Causeway

The Causeway is more a symbolic bridging of the two countries rather than just a physical one. The two countries of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have always shared very close bonds which resulted in the construction of the Causeway between the two countries in 1986. The journey over the bridges gives a panoramic view of the gulf ocean, with an endless view of the ocean dotted with several ferries transporting material between the two countries. There are several cafe's along the way to help commuters refresh and a small park for families to rest. A perfect destination for a road trip, this symbol of friendship between the two countries is worth the visit.
