About Liberation War Museum

The Liberation War Museum is dedicated to not just Bangladesh's War of Independence with Pakistan, but also the struggle for fundamental human rights in general. The museum hosts a wide variety of galleries dedicated to these two subjects. As well, it hosts the occasional cultural event. You'll also find tea stalls and book shops.

Since the museum presents itself as a venue of a global fight for justice, its scope is necessarily international. Therefore, you'll find many artifacts contributed by countries like Japan and the U.S.A.
