Situated in the South West Coast of Barbados, this is the only beach in Bridgetown near Bridgetown's Cruise Terminal. Indulge in the many watersport activities such as wave runners, banana boats, water-skiing, windsurfing, kayaking, or join a beach activity such as volleyball, football or paddle tennis. Brighton Beach in Barbados is a safe place to spend a day or to do swimming as lifeguards are on duty. In its close proximity, there is a rum distillery which has several unique features. Hotpot a unique feature which pumps hot water on the beach created by the nearby power plant and the locals love to take a bath over here. The beach is suitable for swimming with small waves and minimal areas of reef and rocks. For a relaxing day rent beach chairs and enjoy the view of sailing ships in and out of the Harbour. A casual public park is also there where both kids and adults can go for a run or swim, play beach tennis or volleyball or just simply sunbathe.
Bus 27 stops near the destination. It is only about 3.9 km from the city center and can be reached by rental taxi/ car.
