About Borisova Gradina

Borisova Gradina is the biggest park in Sofia and has a lot of activities to offer both the young and old. Visitors can spend an afternoon in this picturesque park by exploring tree-lined pathways, a vast collection of statues, a playground for children, soccer stadiums, a tennis court, and swimming pools. It is the perfect escape for evading the hustle and bustle of Sofia’s city life. It was opened in the 1880s and is named after Boris III, Tsar of Bulgaria. Many people come here for biking.
