About Luilichang Cultural Street

Liulichang Street in downtown Beijing is considered one of the most flourishing cultural centers of Beijing. The street accommodates a vast array of shops selling antiques, souvenirs, paintings, and curios; it also houses the China Book Store, one of China's oldest and largest bookshops selling second-hand foreign language books, vintage reprints of ancient texts and calligraphy supplies. Backed with a long history and cultural atmosphere, the street has been repaired a number of times to exude newness and make it attractive for tourists.
