Simple yet elegant, the eighth-tallest building in China, 11th-tallest in Asia and the 16th-tallest in the world, (CITIC) China International Trust and Investment Plaza is an 80-storey (1,283 ft) office skyscraper. The height includes two antenna-like spires on the top. It is divided into two parts, the main building and the podium. In the podium, 4 floors are for shopping malls and one is for international clubs. This attraction has received the “National Construction Industry New Technology Application Silver Demonstration Project” award, and also received the “National Quality Engineering Silver Award.” The tower’s simplicity, but its notable presence in the Tien He district has earned it a status as a sturdy and robust example of the Guangzhou spirit.
