Reed Flute Cave is a cool fluorescent, enchanting limestone cave lit up in the colors of the rainbow. The lighting system has been specially installed to enchant visitors. The cave which was previously an underground lake is a geographical wonder with unusual rock formations, some resembling fruits and vegetables while others have taken on a more human-like form. The most beautiful displays are 'Rose Dawn over Lion Peaks' and 'Crystal Palace' which also used by people to hide during air raids during the Second World War.

There are several shuttle buses (No. 3, 4A and 213) running through downtown Guilin and Reed Flute Cave.

By Water:
Opening Time: 9:00 a.m. to 8:10 p.m.
It will be 85mins of traveling along the Peach Blossom River. Children under 3.9ft are ticket-free to embark but if you have taller children under 4.6ft you will need to buy tickets for them costing CNY 65. For adults and children above 4.6ft the price is slightly higher.
