How to reach

The Metro lines A stop near Plaza Botero.
The metro station Parque de Berrio"  is just a block away from this plaza.
The Bus lines 130, 6C2, 6C5, 6C8 stop near Plaza Botero.
 
 

Tips

It's a busy area so keep your belongings safely.
There is an art gallery which has exhibits from a local and international artist.
Recommend not to go during the night.
The area has lots of food stalls, souvenir shop, and a shopping mall.
There is a second oldest church of Medellin to the left of the plaza 
Don't forget to carry your camera.
Carry an ample amount of water to avoid dehydration.
Wear comfortable shoes.
Make sure you have in your backpack a protective suncream, sunglasses, rainwear, warm clothes, sufficient food, and drink.
