The Eglise CBFC-Gombe was founded in 1950. The building has remained the same with no damage and change except that the church was expanded for more space. Located in the city center, this place is both historical and religious. It is the ideal place for meditation and introspection for life beyond the Earth. The compound itself is a very quiet and friendly place with this beautiful little old church right at the heart. This historic church holds two different times for parishioners. The first service begins at 9:00 a.m. and serves the local Congolese and is conducted in French and Lingala. A second service follows for the English-speaking International Protestant Church of Kinshasa IPCK. The church also holds an international school and organizes the usual fare of Sunday schools, Bible study, and meetings. The church is a friendly place in Kinshasa in a lovely setting.
