About Giza Plateau

Egypt is the name that pops up whenever someone talks about the Arabic culture and the historical significance of it. Housing the river Nile and the beautiful city of Cairo, the place is full of surprises and adventures. However, the pivot of attraction for the entire country on the global map in the modern-day time is the Giza plateau. Set on the outskirts from the central city location of Cairo, the Giza plateau is home to the marvellous pyramids, the tombs, the temples, and other cultural and religious monuments.

The central attraction, i.e. the Pyramid of Giza is the point of burial for Queen Khentkaus. The plateau also houses the attractions of the Great Sphinx of Giza. The structure is a dedication on behalf of Amenhotep II in the form of a temple that was meant for Hauron-Haremakhet. In addition to these, the Pyramid of Khafre also happens to be the largest by the construction size and structure. Each pyramid and the entire cluster is meant to signify the place for the mortal remains of the supremely powerful Egyptian pharaohs. The place also boasts the architectural magnificence of having constructed such a mighty piece of work at such a raw time when no organized science was available.

The interior (which is commonly closed to the visitors) is said to house the limestone work for a smooth and cool finish for the remains to rest. The pharaohs are rested in their tombs and exist as mummies with their precious belongings alongside. The entire site is nothing short of a once in a lifetime event for a person to relish the great existence of the culture.
