The best way to get away from the monotony of Sharm's mall culture is by paying a visit to the Old Market. Here, you can soak in the sights of real Egypt. Full of colours and intoxicating smells, the bazaar is a great place to shop for souvenirs, herbs and spices, jewellery and other items. There are also some good seafood restaurants and shisha lounges. Old Market comes alive at night, which makes it the best time to visit. With its bustle traditional charm, Old Market presents a nice contrast to Sharm's reputation as a resort town.
Taxis and mini-buses ply from Naama Bay to Old Market. Mini-bus will cost 3 EGP while taxis will charge around 15 EGP
