About Tiran Island

With its beautiful clear waters and abundant marine life, Tiran Island is not to be missed. Tiran Island is renowned for its coral reefs, especially Jackson and Gordon Reefs. Strategically located in the Straits of Tiran, the island is officially part of Saudi Arabia and was briefly taken over by Israel following the Six-Day War. Geopolitics aside, the shallow waters off the island are a pure paradise for divers, for they are full of stunning marine life. Amidst the great natural beauty, there lies rotting shipwrecks - a strange sight that will haunt you for some time. From boat rides to diving, snorkeling or just lazing around the crystal clear waters the beach is set to fulfill all that you want.
