How to reach

It is a 30 to 40 minute walk from the city center

Bus Line 1054 will take about 30 minutes and cost around 125 HUF to 208 HUF

A 5-minute taxi ride will take at least 1400 HUF 

Tips

  • It is better to buy tickets online to avoid a rush although tickets are available at the counter
  • Wear comfortable shoes so that you can go walking for a good length of time
  • Even if you take a guided tour inside the castle the language is Hungarian but English is in use to mention about and give details about the exhibits.
  • There are a few more small exhibits to be seen inside the castle but one has to pay a little extra for that 
  • It is better to come at least 20 minutes before to board the bus as there may be a queue during peak hours
  • Carry some warm clothes alongwith you on your visit
  • It is better to have transalation Apps dowloaded in your mobile phone
  • There is a cafe inside the castle along with washrooms and refreshment counters.
