Between November to March, the outskirts of Agra heartily welcome the long gone migratory birds in the area. An abode for a large variety of flora, migratory and local birds, Soor Sarovar bird sanctuary is a place that inspired the poet Surdas to compose poetry highlighting the unifying passion of Krishna and Radha. The magnificent beauty of the birds can be enjoyed with children and will leave all the visitors spellbound. The different species of flowers and birds are captivating in nature making the visit a memorable experience. The place provides artificially-created habitat for shelter and breeding grounds to these migratory birds. Situated on the way to Agra from Delhi, the sanctuary can be visited on the way to Agra itself.
