The Nahargarh Fort was constructed with a dual purpose, one among them was for acting as a summer retreat, and the other to strengthen the defence ring of Jaipur. Visitors can experience the picturesque view of the charming pink city. The architecture of the Fort is magnificent and it features wax idols of famous personalities like Amitabh Bachan. The glass palace is adorned with hand-cut glass which makes it distinct and unique. The other forts which have glass palace are not adorned with glass. The fort represents cohesion of Mughal and Rajput architecture and the glass palace was crafted to honour the same.
Beautiful view of Man Sagar Lake; Pink city uphill; old interiors and architecture.
