Essel World the biggest amusement park of India, located in the Gorai island, Borivali, was established in 1989. The closest station to reach Essel World Amusement Park is either Malad or Borivali. The train is the cheapest way to reach here. You have to use Western Railways train from the railway station of Malad. If you have taken the train from Malad (W), you can take the BEST Bus number 272 to reach Marve-Malad or an auto rickshaw, or a cab from Malad(W) is also another option to reach Marve-Malad. Now, once you are at Marve-Malad bus termination point from there you can avail the ferry services of EsselWorld to reach there. EsselWorld’s own ferries are available every 45 minutes from Marve-Malad. They charge additional fees for this service. Malad to Essel World distance is 32 km.
Similarly, you can take a train from anywhere in the city to reach Borivali railway station from there. Then take the BEST Bus number 294 to reach Gorai-Borivali. where you can hire auto rickshaw or taxi to reach Gorai – Borivali, it is a little costly. So it is recommended to use only the BEST Bus service for budget travelers. From Gorai-Borivali, you can use the ferry service of Essel World to reach there. Every time ferry runs after 15 minutes from Gorai-Borivali. Borivali to Essel World distance is just 25.4 km (approx) which requires 60 minutes of driving by car.
