About Bali Botanic Garden

The Bali Botanic Garden, also known as Kebun Raya Bali, is located in Central Bali in the mountainous region of Bedugul. Spread over 400 acres of land, it is one of the largest botanic gardens in Bali. This garden has a mix of different species of plants and tropical mountain forests.  The Bali Botanic Garden has various subcategories of gardens that may interest people of different ages and backgrounds. These include Orchid and Cactus gardens, which have different species of orchids and cacti from several different countries and in multiple colors, a Rose Garden, which has various species and types of our favorite flower, and Usada Garden, which has several plants that are used for medicinal purposes. Kebun Raya Bali is not only home to some of the most beautiful orchids, cacti, ferns, and carnivorous plants but it also has over 79 different species of birds that only add to the charm of the garden.

The Garden is mostly popular among locals as a popular photo shoot location for weddings but the place has a lot more to offer. For tourists and locals, it offers a place to relax and spend time with your families, friends, or to spend some quiet alone time. There are activities available for kids and adults, like the flying fox circuits. These have different levels of challenges, for adults and children, that are best for people who love a little adventure. Moreover, these circuits allow visitors to get a bird's-eye view of the garden while completing the challenge. The garden is also a gateway for 3 Hindu temples, hence holds some religious significance as well.
