About Azadi Tower

Completed in 1971, it is 45 meters tall and made up of 8000 marble blocks. The tower marks the entrance to the west part of the city. Made using the traditional concept of a Persian garden. Azadi museum is in the basement floor. The museum houses a copy of the Cyrus Cylinder, the original of which is in the British museum. The museum is also filled with ceramics, potteries and beautiful porcelain too. Formerly known as Shahyad Tower, it was then named the Azadi Tower after the Iranian Revolution.

Can use the road and travel via taxi or car through Shoosh Street. The journey will take less than 30 minutes
