The Orizuru Tower is a landmark which offers you clear views of the Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome and one can see as far as Mt. Misen on Miyajima. The breeze here is invigorating and the spectacular views a bonus. The tower has a wall where you can throw Orizuru (crane made of paper) and make a wish. It is a one-of-a-kind experience you cannot find anywhere else. There is also a spiralling slope on the east side of this tower. You can use this wooden slope instead of elevators and check out the paintings displayed on the way depicting the Japanese culture.
Tram: You can take a tram from Teramachi to Atomic Bomb Dome.
You can alternatively walk, as it is just 10 minutes from the city center.
