About Ethnographic Museum

The Ethnographic Museum is a cultural monument of the 18th century. It is located in the Emin Gjiku Complex.

This house was once owned by the family of Emin Gjikolli, which is a nickname meaning "little man".

In 2002, the Museum opened its exhibition permanently, in which ancient clothing, tools, containers furniture, and old weapons, were put on display.

Must See

There are unique pieces of clothing, weaponry, jewelry, and household items on display in each property which is the best introduction to the Pritinian culture.

How to reach

Car rentals are available and one can hire a car starting from €25 a day.

Taxi from city Center - 16 minutes, 2.2 km

  • Visit in between the time schedule given
  • Photographs are allowed in the museum.
  • Wear comfortable shoes as there is a hike up the mountain to reach the museum
