About Corniche

The Corniche (Al-Manara, the lighthouse, as locals call it), is one of the busiest promenades with picturesque sea and coastal views. Lined with palm trees it has incredible views of the Mediterranean coast to offer. It is one of the most preferred places to get away from the hustle and bustle of Beirut’s city life. It is an ideal spot for strolling, sporting or chilling out and is worth hanging out here. Two square miles of magic in food, fun, dance, music, shops and great views is what Corniche is all about. It is an ideal spot to spend a few evenings with families and friends for sure. Sunrise and sunset along with a beautiful seaside walk leave the visitor with a memory of a lifetime.

  • During the evening the place becomes a social zone, where music, dance, snacks and all kinds of activities take place.
  • A great walk for morning exercise. The afternoons and evenings are more crowded with families and kids playing on the sidewalks, smoking nargile.
