It is 161km away from the city center.

You can reach there Plane or through driving.

From San Juan to Mayaguez and from Mayaguez to the Guanica Dry Forest.

  • Bring water - lots of water we consumed six bottles of water each! 
  • Bring clothes changes it will help you enjoy the beach. 
  • Bring something to each - like snacks (not the salty ones) Your blood sugar can drop.
  • Wear comfortable shoes.
  • Bring good, sturdy shoes for walking. 
  • The mosquitos are vicious — bring bug spray and reapply often!
  • There are restrooms available near the information center. Bicycles are allowed on sometrails.
