About Arthur's Seat and the Salisbury Crags

At the heart of Edinburgh is a sight rarely seen in other cities. Tucked away in the heart of the city is a volcano.

It is a very peaceful rock in Holyrood Park and the perfect antidote to the busy streets of Edinburgh. A climb over Salisbury Crags and on to Arthur's Seat gives you a breathtaking view of Edinburgh and, particularly, Edinburgh Castle. St. Anthony's Chapel is the only building to stand strong in Holyrood Park. It may take about 45 mins to an hour walk but when you reach the top it gives a stunning panoramic 360-degree view of the beautiful city.

It's a good break from your busy schedule.

Must See
