About Asian Civilisation Museum

The Asian Civilisation Museum is one of the four museums in Singapore. The museum focuses primarily on the Asian history and cultures, delving deep into their rich history full of untapped potential. The permanent exhibitions here are truly sights to behold, with artefacts from various time periods and cultures.

The reason that this museum is so highly regarded is because it is one of the few in the world to explore the Pan-Asian cultures in as much detail as it has. As the museum grew with its galleries, the buildings itself underwent lots of changes. The modern buildings have urban architecture integrated into them as a sign of the unification of tradition and modernism. The popularity of the museum did not go unnoticed by the people, which is why it was named the top museum in Singapore, and in the top 10 museums in Asia, which is a great achievement in itself.
