About Big Rush Urban Adrenaline

Having established a world record in the Guinness Book as the tallest swing at a staggering 347 ft, the Big Rush Urban Adrenaline Swing is the world’s only stadium swing. If that didn't excite the adventure lovers out there, then how about this cool fact. The initial drop is thrilling 196 ft free fall before swinging across the World Cup Stadium field in a 721-foot arc!  If you’re interested in taking the leap of faith, this will be the most thrilling experience of your life. You’ll be strapped up properly on the top (it is very safe and all precautions have been taken) and then asked to jump freely into the arc below the swing. If you have the heart to do this, you must!

How to reach

If using public transport, the stadium can be reached with the Metrorail trains that run from Durban central railway station. Take a train on either the North Coast Line or KwaMashu Line. Get off at the next station Moses Mabhida. Trains run rather infrequently.

An alternative is the People Mover buses that run along the beaches. Take a bus on the Northern Line, which brings you to the Suncoast Casino, a 5 to 10-minute walk from the stadium.

Tips

  • Only for the adventure lovers.
  • Kids are not allowed on the ride.
  • People who have undergone heart surgery or have a week back and pregnant women are requested not to try the rides.
