A famous Buddhist shrine hosting the very popular and spiritually significant massive statue of Lord Buddha crafted in pure Gold. The unique Thai style architecture in the temple and the statue is a sight of great beauty and admiration. The temple of Golden Buddha protects the Massive Golden Buddha, the Phra Putta Maha Suwan Patimakon. The Statue of Buddha is of great religious importance transcending it's energizing vibes all through the arena. With an epic height of 3 m, the Buddha statue is strikingly majestic. Originally, the Buddha structure was covered in plasters to prevent attack by invaders. The first-floor houses of the museum houses inscriptions revealing the history of China town and the Chinese immigrants in Bangkok. The second-floor exhibits history of Golden Buddha. The idol weighs around 5 and a half tons most likely to be around 700-800 years old. The statue discovered accidentally is now an asset to the monument and a treasured piece of religious sculpture.
