A well-known destination for picturesque views of the ocean, lush island landscapes, Kata Noi, Kata Yai, and Karon beaches, Karon Viewpoint is an 'unreal' place. It is locally called Khao Saam Haad (Three Beaches Hill) and was earlier called Kata viewpoint. Located between the Nai Harn and Kata Noi beaches, it is one of the most visited viewpoints in Phuket. Although it is located to the south of Kata Noi Beach and looks out directly onto the Andaman Sea, the north has the undeniably impressive 8 km vista of the three west coast beaches. Mom Tri’s Villa Royale is in the foreground and the Hilton Arcadia on Karon Beach in the background hold the attention of visitors.
Situated at the end of Kata Noi beach, this place is connected by road. Hence a taxi or a tuk-tuk is a good idea for transport.
