About Marmaris Castle

During World War I, the castle was badly damaged when the French cannon fired it. The Marmaris Castle and the Museum have seven indoor areas; two of them are organized as an archaeology lounge and one of them is organized as an ethnography lounge.

If you have problems walking, avoid the trip to the castle.
People with physical disabilities will find it difficult to traverse as there are no provisions for them.
Don't go in the afternoon. The heat will torpedo the experience.
