About Linhung Buddhist Temple

This striking and marvelous temple sprawled around acres of land is one of the top tourist locations in Hoi An. Hop on a bus and enjoy the scenic views of the Hoi An landscape passing rice fields to the temple. A place of worship and serenity, this luxurious location holds one of the biggest statues of Buddha in the region. Several hundreds of worshipers come to the temple daily offering prayers and their devotion elevates the beauty of the temple. Be amazed by the scenic views atop the marble mountain and stroll through the pathway of the temple which features several statues depicting animals and other forms. The Statue of Lady Buddha, a white statue sublime and majestic a grand feat of design and carpentry stands tall with over 17 floors open to the public to climb. From there the view of the sea and the city is picturesque, green lands, blue open waters and little blocks of houses tiled and colorful, make up the skyline of Hoi An. Hoi An is a proud city and like a beacon of light, this landmark imprints itself in the sky a vision of hope and prosperity.

How to reach

By bus No.2 via Hai Bà Trưng, Head north on Đường Cao Hồng Lãnh toward Công Nữ Ngọc Hoa and Pass by Bún Chả Cá Bà Phiến (on the left). Turn left at Phố cổ Hội An. Pass by Nhà Cổ Gia Đình Sanh Hiên (on the left). Turn right at Tiệm Sửa Xe Nhân onto Trần Hưng Đạo. Turn left after Cloth Shop Thanh Vân (on the left). Pass by Phòng Vé Máy Bay Bông Hoa Sen (on the right). Turn left at Khung Tranh Gia Hưng onto Đinh Tiên Hoàng. Pass by Hung Thanh Bus (on the left). Slight right at Hung Thanh Travel onto Thích Quảng Đức and Turn left at Coffee tea Panda. Destination will be on the left. The taxi charges are 30000 VND to 33000 VND. By bus and cab the fare cost is 28000 VND and 33000 VND.
