How to reach

There are many ways you can get to Sydney Harbour such as by cab and other relevant public transportation alternatives.

But the following transit lines have routes that pass near Sydney Harbour Bridge: 

Train: T1.

You can take a train from Central Station also. It takes 9 min by train, with a train every 10 minutes and costs you $ 4 to $ 6.

Bus: 227, 269, 311, 392, 653, X92.

If you travel via bus it takes approx 3 hours 56 minutes and costs you around $ 48 to $106.

 If you are driving then it takes you around 3 hours 3 minutes and it is about 177.6 miles.

Tips

  • Sydney is huge, transport may not always run like clockwork. So, plan accordingly and keep some extra time just so you reach on time.
  • The restaurants are closed either on Sunday or Monday, so it is best you check before you plan your day.
  • It's always best to start your day early as most of the cafes open around 7 a.m. This is just perfect for those days of you who want to spend most of the day sightseeing.
  • Please do not move out without an SPF 30, and a water bottle at all times!
  • Carry your cameras to get that perfect picture.
  • Explore Sydney Harbour by way of the iconic Sydney ferry that glides by famous landmarks like SydneyOpera House and the Harbour Bridge.
  •  There are loads to experience and encounter by way of ferries, cruise boats, or on foot. So dress in comfortable and airy clothing and make the most of your adventurous streaks.
