Mexico, a federal republic is located in the southern part of North America and is regarded as the third-largest country in Latin America. In spite of the great divide between the haves and the have-nots and the many challenges it faces as a developing nation, Mexico is seen as a dynamic nation with good industrial backing, an abundance of mineral resources, a sizeable service-sector and one of the main economic and political giants in North America.

With a rich historical base, it also showcases a plethora of diverse cultural and economic environments which further adds to its unique aura as witnessed in its topography, climate, flora, and fauna, culture, and ethnicities. Mexico City, the capital is a bustling, dynamic city and accounts for about one-sixth of the nation's population. Notwithstanding social and environmental factors, tourism contributes vastly to the economy with travelers making a beeline for the famed beach resorts at Acapulco or Puerto Vallarta, the historic sites like Chichen Itza or the coral reefs at Riviera Maya, south of Cancun.

For decades now, the quintessential portrayal of the West at Hollywood was the classic gun-toting, cigarette-smoking Sombrero in place, bullet-belted cowboys astride magnificent horses moving languidly in and out of bars in dusty mountainous outposts. This is partly derived from Mexico but this is far from what meets the eye in modern-day Mexico. A perfect or near-perfect blend of the various ethnicities teaming together to push boundaries and better themselves in all spheres is what is apparent in this throbbing country filled to capacity with lovers of the good life. The magnetic draw, the welcoming natives and positive vibes of this country are certainly not something to be given the go-by!
